So here is what's new in the Bail Bonds world. First, the industry as a whole is reeling from the same "recession" that is affecting the rest of the world. Everyday people are struggling to keep their heads above water and we are no different. When you have a situation where most people you come across are worried about spending it hurts business. I have watched the Bail Bond industry evolve into one of the most competitive industries I have ever worked in. This benefits the consumer but not always the companies that employee bail bondsman. It just seems like we are moving backwards at this point in time. Time will tell who has what it takes to survive.
Second, this competitive atmosphere has brought about an unusual series of events. The Bail Bonds industry has long been divided with regards to prospective legislation that affects itself. These old divisions seem to be fading and common sense appears to be surfacing. Recently groups of Bail bondsman have started working together towards industry improvement. The fact that these groups are even speaking is huge! What will come of this new found dialogue? I for one hope we stop beating up on each other and start rebuilding our image with the public. Time will be the judge of this one......
So with all of this in mind I hope 2009 will be a better year for California Bail Bonds. Southern California Bail Bonds has alot of ground to make up and a little hard work has never scared me.
