Bail Bond Information

Absolute Bail Bonds has been serving California communities since 1987. During that time our business has grown to a statewide bail bond agency providing speedy service that gets people released from jail as quickly as possible.

We keep it simple and can immediately arrange bail and write the bond. We can even work with you on financial arrangements - like collateral or credit terms.

We believe in the right to bail and that a person is innocent until proven guilty. We also believe each person has the right to a fair and speedy trial and has the right to be represented by an attorney.

Sometimes I wonder

Sometimes I wonder why anyone would choose a job that never closes. 24hours a day can wear you out.....but it's addicting.

Man arrested with whole chicken in pants

A man with an unusually large bulge in his pants was arrested in front of a Wal-Mart Supercenter in Palm Springs, CA. when he admitted he was trying to steal chicken.
Timothy Yates, 46, was booked on suspicion of possessing stolen property and taken to jail, where he was locked up in lieu of $5,000 bail Tuesday evening, police said.....So is this the opening line of a joke? Are you happy to see me or is that just a chicken in your pants?

Los Angeles County, CALIFORNIA- A local mother of a man fatally shot at his front door by a police officer has filed a $50 million claim against the city of Inglewood.

The families attorney Gregory Yates, representing Donna Wicks (mother), says he filed the claim this week, along with a federal civil rights lawsuit.

I forgot to mention......... Absolute Bail Bonds 800-793-2245

Taxpayers are paying for inmates release

Did you guys know that our tax dollars are being used to release criminals? Yes, it's true our hard earned dollars (or whats left of them) are used by the state/counties to release criminals. The same people who we just paid to put it.
How it works:
1)Someones arrested
2)They are booked into jail
3)A OR (own recognizance) officer reviews they're file and if they "qualify" they are released from jail with a ticket to reappear on the court date.

The OR officer is paid by us! Why do I care? Because my job is the "Only" part of the criminal justice process that is privately funded. The family or friends bail them out, they pay for it. I would rather see our tax dollars used for schools or roads. Tell me what you think

Bail Bond stories

I'll share the first story that comes to mind. A woman called from jail to get a bail bond for herself. She was crying and upset (for obvious reasons) I asked what she had been charged with. The very emotional woman stated that she was being charged with, "cruelty to animals"....Ok I've had these calls before. This one had a twist.
I asked her to explain a little more so that I could understand what she was exactly in for. The woman began to explain that she was having problems and thought about committing suicide. Sooooo where does the animal come in? Well it turns out that she chose to use a handgun and missed.....that's where the poor animal comes in.
